The bridge, located at Dousman and Main Streets, will undergo annual cleaning and preventative maintenance works, leading to alterations in its regular functioning.

According to the department, the bridge will be closed to masted navigation on specific dates to facilitate the maintenance tasks. The closure is scheduled for Friday, April 19, 2024, between 4 a.m. and 2 p.m., and from Tuesday, April 23, 2024, starting at 7 a.m. until Thursday, April 25, 2024, concluding at 3 p.m.

This temporary change aims to ensure the continued safety and efficiency of the Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge, benefiting both pedestrians and motorists who rely on its operation.
