The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay has defied recent concerns raised in a report by Deloitte commissioned by the Universities of Wisconsin, showcasing a strong financial standing and positive future outlook for the institution and its students.

Chancellor Alexander highlighted the university's financial trajectory, stating, "The present-day picture of UW-Green Bay is innovative and forward-thinking." He emphasized the university's resilience and commitment to expanding its education and access mission to benefit both students and the region.

Addressing the disparities in projections, Chancellor Alexander pointed out the inaccuracies in Deloitte's report, stating, "There is a much more accurate and positive trajectory for us moving forward." He also outlined the university's plans to maintain a positive budget and enhance its mission by focusing on areas such as dual enrollment, continuing education, and student support networks.

The Chancellor also emphasized the importance of revenue generated through the Continuing Education Division, noting its stability as a unique revenue stream for the university. Additionally, he mentioned future initiatives to drive enrollment and revenue, including the development of Phoenix Innovation Park and exploring revenue opportunities in athletics.

In response to the report's recognition of UW-Green Bay's efficiency in keeping tuition affordable, Chancellor Alexander acknowledged the significance of efficiency but emphasized that it alone would not support the university's future growth.
